A creative landscape

I write as a 76 year old woman. In this moment, I inhabit a creative landscape of events, experiences and living. I am the textures and shapes of earth, the invisibility of air, and the wetness of water. I am introverted, spiritual and mystical. I am also practical and ordinary. I can be fierce. I can be receptive. My ability to hear isn’t what it used to be. But, in other ways I hear more deeply than I ever have previously in my lifetime. I am all of the moments of my 76 years, yet I live in THIS moment. I savor the richness and the immediacy of now.
